Occupational Therapy

We have an independent Occupational Therapist who attends the school.  She assesses the need of any child brought to her attention at the request of parents and then offers packages of therapy as needed, for which parents are charged through the School as an extra.

The  therapy will cease when it is no longer needed with the agreement of parents.  Therapy can be reinstated by agreement if a new need arises.  It is a very flexible system designed to be as economical as possible.

The therapist may also observe some lessons in order to advise teachers on anything that the teachers can do to support the children in their lessons.  The school funds these sessions which are done when the Senco requests them.
