The Staff
Under the leadership of the Founder and Principal of Moon Hall Schools, Berry Baker, and the Head, David Rowlands, the teachers at Moon Hall College have all the skills and competencies required to deliver the specialist education necessary to enable dyslexic teenagers to fulfil their potential.
Staff will work with small classes to teach both core subjects and the students' chosen options. Each pupil will have his or her own teaching plan and specialist support will be given on an individual basis as required.
Most importantly Moon Hall College staff will work to develop confidence and a sense of self-worth in all students. This is frequently a key aspect in helping students to improve performance and meet new challenges in a positive way.
Overall the College will provide an exceptional environment within which intelligent dyslexic teenagers can engage with their challenges and develop a series of life-long learning skills. At the same time they will have the opportunity to discover and celebrate the 'differences' which so many successful dyslexic people say gives them an edge in later life.
